BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are working with a 55+ year vertically integrated manufacturer (yarn forward) of Activewear/performance apparel and undergarments with multiple facilities in the western hemisphere supplying major brands and retailers globally (Target, Under Armour, Gap, Nike, Puma, Lululemon, Hanes, Athleta, and New Balance to name a few). Due to growth, the company is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to manage the demand from large and medium size brands that are relocating their sourcing/manufacturing to the Western hemisphere. This is not a short-term contract - the company is looking for a long-term 1099/contract sales person and offers a guaranteed strong base pay (six figure range) and generous commission incentive plan (2X - 3X annual base compensation). This is a remote / WFH position that reports directly to the CEO and will have a large team supporting the business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will preferably be located in CA Requirements 4+ years of finished apparel products business development / sales experience to well-known/major brands, lifestyle brands, and/or major retailers Apparel knowledge/experience with activewear, athleisure, yoga, intimates, undergarments, etc. preferred Proven history of sales success / sales growth History of working with internal cross-functional teams including R&D, PD, Planning, Manufacturing, fulfillment as well as working with customer teams including R&D, PD, Merchant teams, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, etc. up to C-level All Candidates must be able to provide work related references. #J-18808-Ljbffr
