Work Environment\n

This role operates in a fully remote environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. You will primarily work in collaboration with school personnel, providing counseling services to students through virtual platforms. You will maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients at a time, utilizing a secure and comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system to document sessions, track progress, and ensure client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to students aged 18 and older, addressing a variety of mental health challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to support client needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to establish comprehensive support for students.

• Manage administrative tasks, including client documentation, billing, and insurance verification, allowing you to concentrate fully on client care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with best practices in the field.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse student populations, providing mental health support that acknowledges and incorporates cultural, sexual orientation, and gender identity considerations. Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and a focus on men's mental health will be an asset, although not a mandatory requirement. Your role will have a profound impact on building resilience and coping strategies among students, fostering their growth and emotional wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW license in the state of Texas, with a minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience.

• Possession of professional malpractice insurance is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
