Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate client documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.

• A valid New Jersey license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients and working effectively as part of a team.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care, will be given preference. Additionally, knowledge of community resources and referral options is advantageous.
