Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that delineate specific goals, preferences, and anticipated outcomes.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to mood disorder treatments.

• Offering educational resources and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.

• Monitoring client progress rigorously and adapting treatment plans in response to feedback and observed outcomes.

• Partnering with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, primarily individuals struggling with mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Clients will range in age and background, providing an enriching environment to apply various therapeutic approaches and fostering cultural competency within your practice.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction and rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
