Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely suited for professionals seeking flexibility, as all counseling services are conducted via telehealth. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values professional development and community engagement. Our practice operates with extended hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing for a schedule that accommodates both client and counselor needs. You will have access to a robust support team that assists with scheduling and client services, enhancing your ability to focus on clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma and constructing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support for clients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and actively participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

As a counselor, you will work with clients from different backgrounds, offering support and guidance tailored to their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LPC in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

• Ability to manage stress effectively and remain composed in demanding situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, ideally with a focus on trauma-informed therapy.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapy and a solid understanding of resilience-building techniques.

• Willingness to see couples as part of your therapeutic practice (training will be provided).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer numerous benefits, including:
