We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in San Bernardino and play an integral role in our innovative approach to chronic pain, functional restoration, and post-concussion rehabilitation .

This is an opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment alongside physical therapists, rehabilitation professionals, cognitive behavioral therapists, physicians, and advanced practice providers —working together to address the physical, psychological, and functional aspects of recovery.

Our treatment model goes beyond traditional outpatient therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to combine hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, patient education, pain neuroscience education, functional training, and evidence-informed rehabilitation strategies to help patients develop practical skills they can carry into their everyday lives.

You’ll work with primarily adult patients experiencing:

• Chronic and persistent pain
• Orthopedic conditions
• Post-concussion syndrome
• Complex functional limitations
• Work-related injuries
• Difficulties returning to work and daily activities

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop expertise in pain neuroscience education, functional restoration, graded exposure, pacing strategies, movement-based interventions, and nervous-system-informed care .

And if you are new to these areas, we’ll train you. We welcome experienced clinicians as well as new graduates who are eager to develop their skills in pain rehabilitation.

*This is an onsite role in San Bernardino

 

What you will do: 

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide engaging 60-minute individual and group treatment sessions.
• Combine hands-on care, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and patient education.
• Provide pain neuroscience education to patients individually and in group settings.
• Help patients understand pain and develop practical strategies for improving function and confidence.
• Provide rehabilitation for chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, orthopedic conditions, and complex functional limitations.
• Incorporate pacing, graded exposure, functional training, work simulation, and movement-based interventions into treatment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, cognitive behavioral therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Participate in co-treatment and interdisciplinary case discussions.
• Establish meaningful therapeutic relationships that empower patients to move, function, and participate more confidently in their daily lives.
• Support patients navigating the workers' compensation system and provide education throughout their rehabilitation journey. Training is provided.
• Participate in outcomes tracking, clinical discussions, and continuous program improvement.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications: 

• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong patient-relationship and education skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Leadership experience is a plus, and clinicians interested in growing into a leadership role are encouraged to apply.

Compensation Range: 

$110,000 to $135,000 annually plus up to a 15k sign on bonus! 

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
