This position operates within a remote setting, offering flexibility for both client and therapist. While our team collaborates regularly via virtual meetings, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule according to client needs. Our outpatient office remains a resource for occasional in-person meetings and team-building activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the distinct needs and goals of each client, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.
\n
• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses, aiding in the identification of specific behavioral and emotional concerns.
\n
• Engage in crisis interventions when necessary, providing immediate support and strategies to de-escalate tense situations.
\n
• Maintain precise clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policy and confidentiality standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive support network for clients.

• Employ culturally competent methodologies to effectively engage and support a diverse client demographic.

• Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and case reviews, contributing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance the quality of client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role focuses on serving a varied client base, working with individuals and families facing challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. You will utilize your expertise to create an inclusive environment where clients can express themselves safely and receive the tailored support they need for personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of California is required.
\n
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, with a focus on working with individuals, couples, and families.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities is essential, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Exceptional communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are critical to achieving successful client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable, as this position will primarily be conducted remotely.

• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapeutic approaches to better serve a racially and ethnically diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
