Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage crisis interventions, offering support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that children and adolescents feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health diagnoses and treatment options, empowering them to be active participants in their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral disorders. By working closely with this demographic, you will help address the emotional and psychological challenges they face, fostering resilience and supporting their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities tailored to this age group.

• Ability to provide both individual and family therapy, demonstrating skill and empathy in your interactions with young clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with children and adolescents, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
