Work Environment\n

This position is based in a remote setting with outpatient office operations, accommodating a flexible work style while ensuring our clients receive uninterrupted care. While you will predominantly work from home, some in-person meetings with team members and patients may be required, offering a hybrid approach that combines professionalism with personal touch. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their specific needs and establish tailored treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with patient goals.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, coping strategies, and available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain detailed, confidential patient records while adhering to all relevant laws and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to continuously improve care strategies based on best practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment innovations in the field of substance use disorders to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals affected by substance use disorders, including issues related to alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. The counselor will work with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and treatment histories, necessitating a compassionate and adaptive approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in the state of Washington is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, existing evidence-based treatment methods, and recovery-oriented care principles.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build rapport with patients and their families.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain thorough documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
