Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist will primarily take place in our well-equipped rehabilitation facility located in Red Bank. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist in our team, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their conditions and needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, using various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet therapeutic goals.
• Provide valuable education and training to patients and their families about recovery processes, self-management strategies, and appropriate exercises for at-home care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with clinical practices by attending workshops, pursuing continuing education, and engaging with professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Montefiore will focus on a diverse patient population, ranging from young children recovering from sports injuries to older adults rehabilitating after surgery. You will also be instrumental in assisting patients with chronic conditions who require ongoing support to maintain their mobility. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will engage with patients and team members daily.
• Proficiency in documentation, computer skills, and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, we also actively encourage recent graduates to apply, particularly those who demonstrate a strong clinical inclination and a passion for serving diverse patient populations. Compensation and Benefits
