Key Responsibilities

• Effectively evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within our rehabilitation center, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, incorporating techniques such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on manual therapy, and device-assisted strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment objectives and plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and therapeutic strategies to empower them in self-care and ambulation.
• Stay current with developments in the field by participating in professional development opportunities, including workshops, continuing education courses, and peer networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse and includes individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. As a Physical Therapist at Websteridence, you will work with patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating improved mobility and quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software for documenting and managing patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of direct experience in physical therapy, preferably within a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, is strongly preferred.
• Experience in working with diverse patient populations and adapting treatment approaches based on individual patient needs.
• Knowledge of assistive devices and modalities commonly used in therapy for enhancing patient independence.
