Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement customized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring alignment with specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a broad range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to treat diverse patients, specializing in orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to a supportive environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and care quality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and integrate evidence-based methodologies into treatment plans.
• Educate and train patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and lifestyle adjustments necessary for recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adhering to best practices and meeting minimum utilization goals and business objectives.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness, enhancing Sutter Care's presence within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Sutter Care, you will be working with a diverse range of patients, offering care tailored to their unique needs. This includes pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and specialized programs for pediatric and neurologic patients. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for patient education and interprofessional collaboration.
• Effective computer skills for patient documentation and communications.
• A proven ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with patients and their families, fostering trust and open dialogue.

Compensation and Benefits
