Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and enhancing emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and integrated treatment plans for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients facing immediate trauma-related emergencies, offering critical assistance during times of heightened distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to promote better awareness and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations and participate in team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest best practices and research developments in trauma therapy and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to abuse, loss, and significant life transitions. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, and we prioritize creating an inclusive atmosphere that fosters healing. You will have the support of a dedicated clinical team and a motivated patient base eager to engage in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications related to patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma recovery.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to USD 110,000, reflecting our commitment to providing competitive compensation for qualified candidates.
