Work Environment

This position is situated in our purpose-built outpatient clinic located in Chantilly, Virginia, offering a comfortable and therapeutic environment conducive to patient care. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and comfortable treatment areas to foster effective communication between therapists and patients. Work hours are scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by assessing their unique goals and therapeutic needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain an organized caseload while providing focused attention to each patient, fostering trust and engagement during sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care by applying evidence-based interventions that greatly enhance patient recovery.
• Utilize a variety of cost-effective treatment modalities to improve motion and enhance patients' mobility, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives when applicable.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate innovative treatment techniques tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
• Design and adjust fitness and wellness programs that facilitate recovery, improve strength, and promote overall health.
• Motivate patients during rehab sessions by providing encouragement, support, and education about their recovery process.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Document patient progress and treatment notes meticulously using EMR systems, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Continuously evaluate the efficacy of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments based on patient feedback and progress.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with orthopedic conditions, and those seeking rehabilitation after surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings is essential.
• You should possess a strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records.
• A comprehensive understanding of the latest research and trends in physical therapy, applied to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is desired.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment, managing multiple patients and treatment plans simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits
