Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence as we deliver our services directly in patients' homes. Our work environment is characterized by a collaborative spirit, where healthcare professionals work synergistically to create wellness plans that embody the latest advancements in physical therapy. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customized and evidence-based physical therapy care to each patient, focusing on restoring motion and functional independence.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize a holistic approach to patient care, integrating various therapeutic modalities and exercise regimens aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Engage patients in their therapy, motivating and supporting them through their recovery process while educating them on non-surgical alternatives to pain management.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives adequate attention and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve come from diverse backgrounds and recover from a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from any sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in outpatient care settings.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable, as you will assess and treat patients in their living environments.
• A proven track record of developing and executing successful patient-centered rehabilitation programs.
• Knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in physical therapy, ensuring that our practice remains at the forefront of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
