Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This full-time position is focused on providing high-quality outpatient orthopedic care, enabling patients to recover mobility and function. Our facility encompasses a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment designed to support advanced physical therapy services. Work Environment

This position operates onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, which features advanced therapeutic equipment and comfortable treatment spaces. You will collaborate closely with a specialized team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a supportive and dynamic environment. Operating from Monday to Friday, your work schedule will be 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to both professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' individual needs and create tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Manage an efficient caseload, treating approximately one patient per hour while ensuring detailed attention to each individual's therapy journey.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to provide effective and cost-efficient treatments.
• Document patient progress thoroughly in compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate records within EMR software platforms, such as WebPT.
• Inspire and motivate patients by setting realistic recovery goals and regularly evaluating progress toward functional abilities.
• Engage in collaborative practices by consulting with other healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
• Promote wellness and prevention strategies that aim to minimize reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, exercise regimens, and preventative care practices that improve overall strength, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes treating patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions, from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain management. Our patient population encompasses a wide demographic, allowing for a fulfilling and diverse work experience where each session contributes positively to the individuals' quality of life and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record and no disciplinary actions.
• Proven experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential, demonstrating the ability to apply best practices in patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in conducting comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation and clinical efficiency.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members, including the ability to provide motivating patient education.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
