Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focused on delivering individualized physical therapy in the comfort of patients' homes, which allows for more personalized care and better engagement with families. You will interact closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that promotes holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic disorders, identifying areas of concern and outlining effective treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each patient, taking into account their medical history and personal aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and proven methodologies to enhance recovery outcomes, employing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as appropriate.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for injury prevention, including customized home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
• Regularly document patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly to reflect improvements or changes in condition.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and collaborate on strategies to improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a varied patient demographic, treating individuals of all ages recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our patients include those recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, fractures, and chronic pain, which requires a compassionate and adaptable approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic settings, demonstrating a solid track record of effective patient outcomes.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to create tailored treatment regimens.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, including familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation protocols and interventions.
• Experience working in home care environments is highly desirable, as it demands unique adaptability and skills to serve patients in diverse settings.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, complemented by a benefits package that may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and performance bonuses.
