This full-time position offers an exciting blend of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions, primarily based in Weatherford, Texas. As an LPC at our center, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals struggling with trauma and other behavioral health challenges.

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining an outpatient office at our facility in Weatherford, Texas. Our operational hours extend from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, providing a conducive environment for our clients and staff alike. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and assess their needs for appropriate treatment.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process trauma, build coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other clinicians, to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Delivering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educating clients and their families regarding trauma responses, recovery pathways, and available resources.
\n
• Keeping accurate, confidential documentation to comply with all legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care.

• Remaining updated on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with patients coping with histories of trauma and related mental health disorders. Our client population is diverse, reflecting varying backgrounds, ages, and experiences. You will engage with clients who have the motivation to heal and are seeking support to process their past experiences and challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

We seek candidates with strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly preferred. In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential.
