Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. Although you will primarily work in a digital setting, you will be expected to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through virtual meetings, assessments, and shared communication tools. You will also adapt to various family dynamics and learning styles, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children aged birth to three who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities.
\n
• Engage in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to address the unique needs of each child and their family.
\n
• Monitor and report on the progress of children towards achieving developmental milestones and outcomes within their IFSPs.
\n
• Provide evidence-based recommendations and strategies to families aimed at enhancing their child's developmental skills in communication, physical, cognitive, and social/emotional areas.
\n
• Build rapport with children and families to create a trusting and effective therapeutic relationship, utilizing a coaching model and techniques tailored to the natural learning environment.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations and maintain a standard of quality and safety in service delivery.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, plans, and outcomes as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
\n
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical standards in social work practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on infants and toddlers who experience developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with families to provide support and education that empowers them to facilitate their child's growth. Each child's treatment plan will be tailored to their individual needs, taking into consideration the family's input and priorities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.
\n
• MUST hold a current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for transportation to any in-person family meetings if required.
\n
• You should have strong organization and time management skills to effectively juggle caseloads and documentation requirements.
\n
• Excellent communication skills are vital for building relationships with children, families, and team members.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and the ability to adapt to various learning styles are essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of one year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings is required.

• Experience in developing and implementing IFSPs is preferred.

• Background in family systems theory and methods is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
