Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address patients' unique experiences and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and trauma-informed care, to assist individuals in their personal growth and healing.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and foster resilience among participants.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide coordinated care and comprehensive treatment pathways for our patients.

• Provide critical crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance.

• Engage in educational efforts with patients and their families to promote understanding of mental health issues, available resources, and effective treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance our collaborative practice and service delivery.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, with an emphasis on cultural considerations.

Your ability to understand and resonate with these populations’ cultural contexts will be essential in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the importance of cultural competency in therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in delivering therapy in both individual and group settings, utilizing culturally responsive methods.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to manage complex emotional situations with sensitivity and professionalism.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of building rapport with diverse clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a basic understanding of computer applications necessary for documentation and communication purposes.

• Ability to function effectively within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
