Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring their needs are thoroughly understood and addressed.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing each patient's unique challenges and goals.
\n
• Prepare accurate billing timelines, detailed documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within set deadlines.
\n
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies that promote stable functioning and recovery.
\n
• Create and implement comprehensive discharge plans to guide clients through transitions as they reach their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as the policies and procedures set forth by Genworth Counseling Center.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your skills and keep current in the field.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to the collective knowledge and strategies of the team.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements in a timely manner, ensuring your qualifications remain up to date.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline that qualifies you for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in Massachusetts is required.

• Experience in outpatient settings providing therapy to diverse populations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing purposes.
