This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to serve clients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection to our community health clinic in Cornelius, Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct and document comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
\n
• Ensure timely documentation is completed on the same day for every case that presents a risk for crisis intervention, promoting effective tracking and follow-up.
\n
• Complete critical incident reporting forms within 24 hours when necessary, ensuring all protocols are followed to maintain safety and accountability.
\n
• Participate in after-hours phone support on a rotating basis, providing vital care coordination assistance when clients need urgent support.
\n
• Collaborate proactively with clients to devise strategies aimed at preventing the need for crisis services, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
\n
• Keep up-to-date crisis alerts for effective coordination with county crisis services, enabling swift action when required.
\n
• Oversee and document transitions to hospital or inpatient services when needed, coordinating closely with hospital staff to facilitate smooth discharges.
\n
• Utilize your crisis de-escalation skills to support individuals during high-stress situations, acting as the Clinician of the Day to enhance the overall therapeutic milieu.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health issues. By addressing these concerns, you will play a critical role in helping community members navigate their mental health journeys, access necessary resources, and strive toward their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• An independent license to practice in the state of residence (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
\n
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.

• Strong mental acuity, including the ability to apply educated judgment in difficult situations, communicating thoughts clearly while maintaining a calm demeanor during crises.

• Exemplary listening skills coupled with an empathetic approach toward clients.
\n
• Flexibility and analytical skills to effectively assess and interpret client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a high-volume caseload environment with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to preserve quality service delivery.

• Demonstrated capability in motivating clients and maintaining enthusiasm in therapeutic processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
