Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, determining their unique therapeutic needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Formulate crisis intervention plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans designed to help clients achieve and maintain stability in their lives.

• Develop customized discharge plans to facilitate a smooth transition post-treatment while promoting ongoing support and resources.

• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws related to mental health practice, as well as internal agency policies and protocols.

• Invest in your professional development by actively participating in training sessions and continuing education opportunities.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, strategies, and collaborative care approaches.

• Ensure all licensure and mandatory training requirements are completed punctually to maintain licensure and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure as a mental health therapist.

• Active licensure in New York State as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
