Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly in cross-categorical or self-contained settings
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to deliver instruction tailored to a range of abilities, aligned with grade-level standards
• Skilled in employing structured teaching methodologies, visual and sensory supports, and behavioral/social-emotional interventions
• Strong collaborative spirit for working with aides, related services, and families
• Proficiency using data to monitor progress and adjust instruction

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lessons that support grade-level curriculum while targeting each student’s IEP goals
• Coordinate with program aides and additional support staff to ensure students receive appropriate assistance
• Integrate a variety of supports including visual aids, structured routines, sensory tools, and behavioral strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures social-emotional and academic growth
• Maintain organized data collection, progress monitoring, and timely communication with families and related service professionals
