Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Collaboration is key—you’ll work alongside related service providers and be supported in the classroom by a dedicated program aide and one-on-one staff based on student IEP requirements.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 Endorsement (or equivalent) required
• Proven experience working in a cross-categorical special education setting preferred
• Familiarity with individualized instructional programming and adapting lessons to address IEP goals
• Strong understanding of behavioral, social-emotional, and sensory support strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with classroom aides, related service providers, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction aligned with grade-level standards and student IEP goals
• Implement structured teaching, behavioral interventions, visual and sensory supports
• Monitor student progress and gather data for IEP reporting and evaluation
• Collaborate with aides, therapists, and other school professionals to coordinate programming
