Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Engage in comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, understand their symptoms, and establish rapport.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction using sophisticated assessment tools and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Instruct and demonstrate therapeutic exercise techniques to empower patients in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they understand the execution of exercises to optimize recovery.
• Utilize hands-on techniques such as massage or stimulation to facilitate healing, mitigate pain, and improve mobility.
• Assist patients with mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their functional independence.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records to track progress, set achievable goals, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide valuable advice and resources to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options and exercises that complement clinical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a varied patient demographic, spanning from pediatric patients recovering from sports injuries to adults with chronic conditions such as arthritis or post-surgical recovery. Each patient presents unique challenges, allowing you to apply a broad range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual circumstances and objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in California to practice physical therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills to maintain patient records and treatment documentation.
• A strong ability to remain flexible and adapt strategies based on patient needs and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
