Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Active Stride, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Educating patients on the correct techniques for therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility and strength
• Applying manual therapies, including massage and stimulation techniques, to facilitate healing processes
• Assisting patients in the proper use of rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and exercise machines
• Maintaining detailed patient records to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Advising patients and their families on in-home exercises and treatment options to support continued recovery

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a clientele that ranges from young children seeking rehabilitation post-injury to older adults managing chronic pain conditions. Our goal is to address each patient's unique challenges with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a holistic approach to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• A valid physical therapy license issued by the state of California
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Proficiency in computer applications for documentation and patient management
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, ready to handle varying case loads

Preferred Experience

While experience in the field is valued, we welcome applicants with both seasoned backgrounds and new graduates. A minimum of two years in a clinical setting is preferred to better serve our diverse patient base. Prior experience with pediatric or geriatric populations will be a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
