Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to determine specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and modalities to optimize recovery from injury or surgery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your practice will primarily be on orthopedic patients recovering from a range of musculoskeletal injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related conditions. You will work with a diverse population, including athletes, active adults, and older adults, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care that addresses their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, obtained through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential to succeed in this role.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization techniques.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning capabilities, particularly in a 'Direct Access' setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or manual therapy, as well as those who have experience leading therapy groups or workshops, will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
