Key Responsibilities\n

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in New York State, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, creating a safe space for open discussion.

• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental perspective towards clients’ experiences and circumstances.

• Effective organizational and time management skills to handle a varied caseload and associated administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy and comfort with technology to facilitate virtual client sessions.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Prior experience working within a community health setting or private practice is advantageous but not mandatory.
