Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based mindfulness interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' stressors and aspirations, creating customized mindfulness practices that facilitate heightened awareness and emotional regulation.

• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness and mitigating stress.

• Facilitate group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, creating a supportive group dynamic to enhance learning.

• Incorporate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions to comprehensively address clients' mental health concerns while promoting their overall development.

• Work closely with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic treatment approach, integrating mindfulness into broader therapeutic plans.

• Keep meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions utilized, and treatment adaptations, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele from various backgrounds who seek support for anxiety, depression, stress management, and personal growth. Individual clients may vary from young adults facing transitional life challenges to those managing chronic mental health conditions. By utilizing mindfulness techniques, you’ll empower clients to cultivate resilience and achieve a greater sense of control over their emotions and lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• Strong foundational understanding of mindfulness techniques and their implementation in therapeutic practices is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to foster a calm and supportive therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
