Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical consultation to interdisciplinary clinical staff regarding mental health challenges faced by diverse patient populations, including individuals experiencing geriatric issues and substance use disorders.

• Interpret and communicate pertinent social history information regarding patients and their families, ensuring that all clinical staff are well-informed and equipped to meet client needs effectively.

• Lead the coordination of care planning, including making recommendations and facilitating decision-making for individualized patient care plans, particularly concerning at-home situations and family dynamics.

• Develop and implement treatment plans based on best practices, regularly reviewing each provider's cases to ensure alignment with the therapeutic goals.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participating in training and feedback sessions to enhance counseling skills and clinical knowledge.

The Mental Health Counselor at Talbott Mental Healthcare Center will work with a diverse array of clients spanning various demographics and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Ability to effectively complete progress notes and case documentation in a timely manner after client sessions to ensure a high standard of care and accurate reporting.
