Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients using established telehealth platforms, adapting to the unique dynamics of remote interactions.

• Engage in comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, formulating personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities to guide clients in addressing their mental health concerns effectively, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Deliver practical coping strategies and emotional support, helping clients develop resilience and enhance their personal growth.

• Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and data security.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to provide comprehensive care, including periodic consultations and shared case reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest methodologies and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting a unique array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will enable you to tailor your approach to meet the developmental, cultural, and individual needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited university.

• Active Professional License in California: LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling with children, adolescents, and adults.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing remote counseling services, along with in-depth knowledge of child and adolescent development, crisis intervention, and co-occurring disorders.

• Demonstrated competence in working with a diverse clientele, utilizing culturally competent practices.

• Additional certification in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as DBT, Trauma Certification, or Military Counseling, is highly desirable.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
