Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing a flexible work setting where Counselors can deliver care effectively from their home office. While the majority of work will be conducted remotely, interaction with primary care providers and other team members through virtual meetings is essential to ensure cohesive treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assist primary care providers in identifying, treating, and managing mental health and psychosocial issues within the practice.

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, ultimately formulating treatment recommendations.

• Provide brief yet effective therapeutic interventions for patients requiring mental health support.
\n
• Evaluate and determine which patients may benefit from specialty referrals to other mental health facilities.
\n
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment approaches as needed based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Coordinate care with other treatment providers as necessary, ensuring seamless integration of behavioral health care.
\n
• Keep thorough documentation of patient progress, treatments, and evaluations within our electronic health record system.
\n
• Promote optimal health by assisting patients in making informed lifestyle choices and adhering to prescribed medical treatments.
\n
• Provide valuable consultation to management and other team members on behavioral health services and program outcomes.
\n
• Adhere to the ethical standards outlined in the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Counselors will utilize culturally competent practices to address the unique needs of each individual, focusing on comprehensive mental health assessments and tailored treatment plans designed to promote recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques informed by current methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.

• Capacity to maintain accurate clinical records and generate comprehensive reports.

• Ability to work independently and utilize sound clinical judgment in decision-making processes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a primary care setting or with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).

• Knowledge of behavioral health integration and community resource navigation.

• Bilingual English-Spanish speaking skills are highly desired but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
