This role is remote, allowing the successful candidate to work from the comfort of their home while engaging with clients in a school setting. Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will perform a variety of essential functions, including:

• Utilizing professional knowledge and clinical expertise to conduct independent psychosocial assessments and formulate diagnoses for patients seeking support.

• Collaborating with patients to design individual treatment plans that are centered around their specific needs and goals, incorporating strengths-based approaches.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral strategies to facilitate patient growth.

• Monitoring and documenting the efficacy of treatment plans through systematic tracking of patient progress, using both in-person and virtual platforms.

• Coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Providing assistance with psychotropic medication management through careful monitoring of adherence, side effects, and overall treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents, offering tailored mental health services to address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and emotional disturbances. By supporting the mental health of students, you play a pivotal role in promoting their academic success and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Maryland.

• At least 1 year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating skills in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n
