Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Preliminary Assessments: Perform initial interviews to gather comprehensive information about clients’ mental health status, documenting findings meticulously from intake through discharge.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, aiming for impactful therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate Therapy Sessions: Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to support clients’ personal growth and coping strategies.
\n
• Monitor Treatment Progress: Regularly assess and document client progress against treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal care is provided.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health specialists to create cohesive intervention plans, ensuring every aspect of a client's health is considered.

• Referral Management: Manage referrals and follow-ups for clients who require specialized care from other healthcare providers or supportive services.

• Family Support: Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating challenges related to mental and emotional health conditions.

• Risk Management: Identify behaviors or conditions that may hinder recovery, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Completion of the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations with passing scores.
\n
• Strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies relevant to the populations we serve.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
\n
• Knowledge of the effects and implications of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community mental health settings.

• Background in treating co-occurring disorders and a familiarity with addiction treatment.
\n
• Experience with family therapy dynamics and interventions.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy and professionalism.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
