Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with clients, case managers, and healthcare providers to develop and coordinate effective treatment plans.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical and administrative records in accordance with RAMS policies and clinical standards.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention services to clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Engaging in collaborative case conferences and attending clinical team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.

• Participating in supervision sessions, both individually and in groups, to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.

• Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and appropriateness for treatment.

• Delivering culturally sensitive mental health counseling to diverse populations, addressing both mental health and substance abuse issues.

• Completing psychological assessment reports that include vocational recommendations and tailored feedback for clients.

• Providing assessments related to work readiness and learning needs, utilizing appropriate psychological testing when necessary.

• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the organization’s mission and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and grief. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey, helping them to develop coping strategies and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid social work license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as required by state regulations.
