Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to identify their mental health histories, needs, and challenges, determining appropriate therapy options in collaboration with clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing diverse mental health issues, utilizing telehealth tools to maintain engagement and support.
\n
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client assessments and ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Document client progress in a secure, compliant telehealth platform, ensuring accurate records for ongoing treatment and case management.
\n
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, collaborating with psychiatric providers and other clinical staff to enhance holistic patient care.

• Consult with the Clinical Director to contribute to program development and improvements, fostering an optimal therapeutic environment for both staff and clients.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health practices and policies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of services delivered by the counseling center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families, many of whom may be experiencing developmental differences or behavioral challenges. Utilizing a variety of empirically supported therapy techniques, you will adapt your approaches to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each individual client, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective support tailored to their personal journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a closely related field. Active licensing as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is required.

• Two years or more of hands-on experience working with children, families, or clients facing developmental differences and utilizing diverse therapeutic methods.

• Deep understanding and knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy options such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and other modalities suited for varying client needs.

• A commitment to providing exceptional client care, using feedback for continual improvement, and maintaining an open-minded approach to learning and collaborating with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a telehealth setting is preferred but not mandatory. Individuals who have a willingness to explore diverse therapeutic difficulties and those with additional training in specific therapeutic techniques may find themselves particularly aligned with our mission.
