Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the challenges faced by clients and devise effective treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Continuously evaluate and document client progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as needed to fit their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, substance use, and eating disorders. By using a tailored approach, you’ll be equipped to support individuals from various backgrounds effectively, addressing the unique circumstances that contribute to their mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, with no restrictions on practice.
