Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions. Formulate clinical diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans that align with the clients' specific needs and goals.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), designed to meet the unique circumstances of each client.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring a calm and safe space for them to express their concerns.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including treatment plans and clinical notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards as stipulated by state and federal regulations.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by partnering with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey. Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the therapeutic process.

As a therapist at Presence of Mind, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, presenting with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in New Jersey (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
