Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to manage your work-life balance effectively while engaging with clients during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on severity, duration, and frequency.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique experiences and treatment goals.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, educating them about mood disorders and offering evidence-based self-care strategies.
\n
• Track and monitor clients' responses and progress throughout the treatment process, adapting treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each client.
\n
• Stay current with research and developments related to mood disorders, continuously integrating new knowledge into practice.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client information, session details, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a professional learning environment and improve clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and promote a more inclusive understanding of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with a diverse range of individuals, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique circumstances, ensuring a respectful and empathetic interaction with every client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling professional collaboration with psychiatrists to optimize client care.

• A proven track record demonstrating effective outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health counseling setting is required, applicants with backgrounds in community mental health, trauma-informed care, or specialized training in mood disorders will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000. Additional benefits include:
