Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify mental health concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and family systems therapy, to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of their mental health and well-being are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress, demonstrating expertise and empathy during high-stress situations.

• Participate in community outreach programs designed to educate the public about mental health issues and to reduce stigma surrounding mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will comprise a diverse range of individuals, including children and adolescents within the foster care system, adults dealing with trauma and anxiety, as well as families navigating complex relational challenges. Your ability to connect with clients from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds will be vital in providing effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• An active license is required as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
