Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify mental health issues, develop clinical diagnoses, and design effective treatment plans targeting specific goals.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, or groups, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, ensuring their safety and referring them to additional resources as needed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including detailed treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment pathways, and available community resources, advocating for their needs and rights to personalize their care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and training seminars to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.
