Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, which involve psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments tailored to individual clients.

• Collaborate closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings, ensuring an adaptable approach based on patient feedback.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and work with healthcare colleagues to provide continuity of care for patients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies, including documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families to empower them with the knowledge and skills required for effective management of mental health conditions.

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Conduct regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic programs and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and innovations in mental health, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree (MSW, MFT, or PhD) in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Massachusetts as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• Demonstrated ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary mental health team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working as a mental health counselor or therapist.
