Compassionate Counseling, LLC is seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be central to providing vital therapeutic services to adults facing a range of mental health challenges. This position allows for flexible case management while offering an excellent opportunity for supplemental income to those fulfilling clinical hours towards licensure.

This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our adult clients.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to inform treatment planning.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Equip clients with coping mechanisms and social skills through actionable support, anger management techniques, and risk reduction strategies.
\n
• Support clients in decision-making processes related to in-home behavioral challenges, working closely with caretakers.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and external professionals to enhance the client's overall support network.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client interactions to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate effective treatment.

• Participate in routine team meetings and submit necessary reporting on a weekly basis.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse adult population, many of whom face significant mental health challenges. Our clinic serves a broad cross-section of individuals, including those living with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. Your role will be crucial in providing the necessary therapeutic support to empower clients on their journey towards recovery and self-improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Demonstrated post-internship clinical experience working with adults.
\n
• Familiarity with DSM-5 for assessment and diagnosis processes.
\n
• Strong understanding of treatment planning, goal setting, and clinical documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, REBT, Gestalt, and DBT.

• Completed Crisis Intervention Training or be willing to undertake this training.
\n
• Prior experience in providing positive behavior support and effective engagement strategies for clients with various needs.

• Adeptness in utilizing technology for remote therapy sessions and record management.
\n
• Background in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is highly advantageous.
