This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible scheduling and a balanced work-life approach. Our outpatient counseling center offers an accommodating setting where clients can attend their appointments from the comfort of their own homes. Counselors will work on an appointment basis, ensuring that they have the flexibility to manage their caseload effectively while still delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to design customized treatment plans that align with each individual’s needs.

• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Participate actively in collaborative case discussions with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance the client’s overall treatment experience.

• Document clinical records meticulously, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards while maintaining confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying updated on the latest mental health research and advancements.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Heartland Wellness Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings will be considered a strong advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and level of experience.
