Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. We offer a supportive outpatient office environment, open Monday through Saturday, where you can build your own practice within our framework. You'll benefit from in-house credentialing and management of insurance participation and scheduling, which helps maximize your focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to understand their unique needs and challenges.

• Implement and monitor treatment plans based on the initial assessments, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each client's circumstances.
\n
• Collaborate with other care providers through effective communication, including participating in patient rounds and contributing to interdisciplinary care plans.
\n
• Provide case management services by consulting and coordinating with healthcare professionals and community resources to maximize patient care outcomes.
\n
• Complete documentation and reports in a timely and ethical manner, maintaining compliance with department requirements and standards.

• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities to support clients in achieving their individualized service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds dealing with various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma to complex disorders. As a mental health counselor at Calm Connections, you will create a restorative atmosphere where clients feel safe and heard, facilitating their journey toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health professional license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) as recognized by the State of Georgia.
\n
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, allowing flexibility to accommodate your schedule and client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health counseling or therapy.
\n
• Experience with specialized therapeutic modalities, such as CBT and others, is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
