Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Through initial consultations, you'll gather information to tailor interventions and support each client's journey toward improved mental health.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients cultivate resilience against their mental health challenges. Regularly adapt your methods based on client feedback and progress.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. This includes detailed documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring complete confidentiality.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to refine the care provided to clients. Engage in productive discussions that enhance treatment approaches while leveraging the expertise of psychiatrists and psychologists.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Lifespan Home Counseling, you'll have the chance to work with clients from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and interpersonal challenges. Your empathetic approach will provide a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences, leading to transformative healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, including potential bonuses to recognize your contributions.
