This position is fully remote, allowing counselors to maintain a flexible schedule while reaching clients across various locations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop customized treatment plans that address their specific goals and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to treat a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts.

• Deliver crisis intervention during therapy sessions and provide immediate support to clients who are in distress while implementing safety plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a holistic approach to client care, ensuring seamless coordination of services.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is timely and thorough.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed of the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Proven experience in delivering counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, preferably using telehealth formats.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various demographics.

• A commitment to inclusivity, cultural competence, and providing affirming care to all clients.

• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both verbal and written formats.

• A capability to function both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team context.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing trauma-informed care, particularly for clients with histories of adverse experiences.
