Work Environment\n

This position allows you the flexibility of a remote work setting while still fostering a sense of teamwork and community through regular virtual meetings and collaborative initiatives. You will work Monday through Friday, with the core hours set from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, alongside some occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed, based on patient availability and care requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to better understand the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs, aspirations, and values.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster healing and recovery.

• Providing educational resources and supportive counseling to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitoring and documenting clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

• Remaining abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance program efficacy.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on assisting patients who are facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. Our diverse clientele span various age groups and backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach that respects individual differences in experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for mood disorders, particularly with CBT and DBT methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.
