Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring thorough documentation from initial consultations to treatment completion.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized intervention and recovery plans suitable for individuals, couples, families, and group contexts.

• Monitor client progress by employing evidence-based methods and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Attend to referrals and follow up on client status in cases where hospitalization is necessary for enhanced support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor, with a strong foundation in counseling techniques and client engagement.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to ensure meticulous documentation and client tracking.
\n
• Adeptness in handling co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as issues related to substance use.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practice guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• A solid understanding of psychotropic medications and their potential effects as supervised by medical professionals.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, complemented by strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
